 The official website for the High Card original television anime revealed on Wednesday additional cast, staff, opening theme, first key visual (pictured), and first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2023.Kazuhiro Yamaji (Spy x Family) and Daisuke Ono (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun) are joining the cast as Bernard Symons and Theodore Constantine Pinochle, respectively. Staff Series Composition: Naoki Kuroyanagi Chief Animation Director: Nozomi Kawano (Radiant), Haruna Nagata (Given Movie) Editing: Rie Itou (Gyakuten Sekai no Denchi Shoujo) Sound Effects: Hiromune Kurahashi (Megalo Box) Music: Ryou Takahashi (SK∞) J-rock band FIVE NEW OLD performs the opening theme "Trickster," which is previewed in the promotional video below. Junichi Wada (Sakugan) helms the anime at Studio Hibari. Kenichi Yamashita (Major 2nd), Kazuhiko Inukai (Baki), and Shingo Nagai (Caligula (TV)) are penning the script. Nozomi Kawano is designing the characters. The anime is part of a mixed media project collaboration between Kadokawa, pachinko developer Sammy Corporation, and animation studio TMS Entertainment and also includes a manga, Drama CD, and novel. Kakegurui manga author Homura Kawamoto and Hikaru Muno (Kakegurui light novel) are credited as the original creators. Illustrator Ebimo is in charge of the character designs.
