Volume 8 Chapter 2 Questions

I finished volume 7.5 and I may have forgotten a few details of the story so I had some questions I was hoping could be answered without spoilers. At the beginning of chapter 2 in volume 8 Yukinoshita was starting to ask Hikigaya a question but gets cut off and he mentions how it's a continuation of what she asked before, what was he talking about exactly? A summary of what went down in chapter 2 would really help me catch up completely after I forgot a little bit of what happened since the break in vol 7.5 if anyone can help thank you

Not really sure, since there is quite a time since I read it. But Oregairu is a novel that has lots of subtle themes, that are brought up every time, requiring attention of us readers.

I hope you found the answer in this period of time.
