How do people like this anime?!

Ok ok so i understand that everyone has a preference when it comes to anime and stuff but like damn i really did not like this anime it was so rushed the relationship and the boy did not give her space like it literallly made me uncomftorable. It was obvious she didnt want to be as a touchy or. nothing and he kept pushing and it felt like a very one sided relationship and OMG why was Mei so awkward at most times. anywyas give me yalls opinion on it. I really wanna know especially if you did enjoy the anime like what parts where the ones you liked. Idk maybe i interpreted the anime wrong but it does take me a lot to not like an anime and with this one i can confidently say i did not like.

you're not alone. I didn't like it either. Something about how the main guy basically treated the girl like shit but she loved him anyway. I don't remember much about it.

It got me to buy the manga... I mean like 80% of anime just exist to be commercials for the ligth novel/manga/gacha etc etc.. and this was no exception, I felt like this series had potential and understood the anime skipped/rushed alot of stuff, I think it covered like 5% of the story? Personally I was not disappointed, and I usually dont read shoujo, it had so many dramatic and touching moments, it was basically a coming of age story but from the perspective of a woman, its interesting how the "fantasies" are different between stuff aimed at men vs women.
