Do you all think the Anime cut a bit way too much from the light novel? because i do. I do hope the anime dive bit deeper on the dwarf from their perspective, their culture and struggles.

Doesn't mean the arc is bad tho, it's still good.

Yea but the important plot point still decently got covered imo. Unfortunately Dwarven arc would only last until next ep and they gonna start adapting vol 14 for the rest of the season (6 eps). Imo they should done this from the start, 6 eps per volume would feel much right and less content cut but I understand the budget and time constraint

Imo they are doing a great job in 13 ep conditions, but ofc it would be better with more episodes. I admit that after watching COTE 2, overlord 4 seems like a genius adaptation.

Yeah it would be better fully adapted but I think it’s good enough. It’s the Paladin of the Holy Kingdom arc I really want to be fully adapted. Those novels are for me absolutely peak fiction and I think would be legendary if they had a full and proper adaptation. Sadly I don’t think that will be the case with a single film.

I think they have shown a fair bit of the struggles that the dwarves go through.

Dunno about LN but yeah, I'd like to watch an arc from the Dwarves perspective? Like those Lizards...
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Im glad we didnt waste multiple eps on the dwarves like we did on the lizards. That was easily the weakest part of Overlord

I agree with this, there were sections in the show where I felt like I wanted more out of the events, but not the lizard tribes, felt like it dragged, if they jumped between lizard and ainz crew more, would probably have remedied the feeling, but most likely restraints prevent that of being possible.

the arc is fine when you binge the show because its just 3 or 4 episodes but watching it weekly only for those random ass lizards to appear was pain. Like Im all for exploring the dwarfes and what makes them unique, but only if it serves the plot. We have already seen everything we need to: they are dwarfes, they like to feast and drink like all fantasy dwarfes and they have rune tech.

I do miss when the author would spend time setting things up and exploring them, like he did with the kingdom. He kinda rushes things more and more because he wants to wrap up the story and it shows at times.

I binged it first watch and even then I felt that way, but I get what you mean, I can imagine how much that must of sucked weekly.
