Why the drop in ratings?

So originally when this anime started airing it was sitting at about a 7.2 consistently and then slowly dropped down to 6.8. Is it still worth watching if I want to get into the franchise 🥺

maybe because of weiss's problem that took up too many episodes

i have stopped it on 5th episode. and my issue was Weiss. they are taking too much episodes for useless Weiss. nothing other to worry about cause considering animation, art and fight scenes it should be more than 7.5. but Weiss is making me suffer. those are useless episodes considering anime is only 12 episode over-all.
