We know how bad S3 Overlord is. It suck, CGI bad, Rushed and too much problem. MadHouse knew this obviously because this is their own work. And look how they improved so much. I remember how a lot of people expect this season gonna suck and now they are silenced

Similar to other studio, Cloverworks, Pierrot or other big studio. Dont cancel them just for 1 fuckup of your fav series and put more faith in their future work. Sometimes they just had a terrible production management and they learn from that mistake

First of all the anime isnt rushed, because there is still the plot, they rushed some minor things, and for the CGI, i don't Remember nobody complaining about it

All the seasons are equally good.
People didn't complain about the bad CGI in season 3. They were complaining about the bad monster design of that final boss,It was atrocious.
Since this is a LN adaptation, a lot of contents will be skipped. Hence, Pacing was never an issue.

Compared to its prequels, Season 4 has a lot less watchers.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Overlord is great , season 2 is my favorite , the arc was up my alley, I really liked the whole Momon vs Jaldabaoth arc and all the stuff going on in the background and the “misunderstanding humor”. Season 3 is my least favorite but I didn’t hate it, it was still enjoyable, but not as good as first two for me personally. So really happy with season 4 so far, way better then season 3 for me, feels like they brought back the humor and adventure feel that I thought wasn’t as apparent in the third season, love the whole “misunderstanding humor” in episode 2-3 , Overlord always excelled at “misunderstanding humor” I’ve thought (I don’t know if that’s the right phrase for it) . Sorry for babbling, in the end excited for the rest of the season !

The amount of people here who dont remember the countless complaints about the CGI and visuals in season 3 is actually beyond me lol, just go to see the reactions on mal on the final episode of season 3 and youll see so many people complaining (for good reason obviously). Overlord´s animation was never truly good, season 1 included, as the staff is nowhere near madhouse´s best, the visuals were fine for what they wanted to do, but the problem with season 2 and 3 was that a lot of the staff had just completed Kimi no Koe o Todoketai and had to right away do 2 split cours of overlord, making it so the animation be it the 2D or 3D to get much worse in result. On the opposite of things, season 4 was actually already done when the anime first aired, so it has a much better schedule than previous seasons, so it just makes sense that the quality would get better.

You can say it was bad season 🙂, I love the creator use the character to change the story and love the character , I love all the seasons ,I can say this overlord is a master piece anime , i can't wait for the movie 🍿🎥
All four seasons are great 🤯🔥💖
i will definitely recommend to all people to give a try !! , There was problem with animation ,but I will support the anime and let it grow and make more contents , i am very addictive to watch Overlord again and again 🍿

Wonder how many people actually watched Kingdom for season 1 bad treatment. But S2 drastically improved in animation and s3,s4 is masterpiece of works. I regret for not watching that series earlier.

Improved lol, still cramming 3 volumes in 13 episodes knowing Overlord light novel is longer than your typical light novel. CGI still bad, the same models are used across the season with no sign of improvements. The cut content ofc, they're like just showing the bare minimum ignoring the rich lore behind the show and the intricacies. The animation is left to be desired, this is the same studio that did OPM S1 lol. What happened xD?

I guess we accept mediocrity now huh? We just accept anything as long as we get something. This is how the anime industry dies, if they can't adapt their top sellers well, it's only a matter of time before the Chinese/korean take over if they do well. Good thing we still have studios like Mappa , Wit, Ufotable who does things properly. Don't forget that eventually all stories would be too similar and people will tire of it. While you still have UNIQUE top sellers, do their shows justice. Compared to other top selling isekai, Overlord is one that has the most unsatisfied fans and for the right reasons.

Mushoku has atleast great visuals, sakuga even. Idk about the story though, ReZero might not have the best visuals but it still looks great and the studio even goes 29 mins per episode. Slime is great. Spider isekai idk.

Honestly I think s4 is weaker than s3. I liked the first three seasons. But this one seemed slightly weaker in comparison. Guess they're prepping us for s5. If not then the series is headed to the same circle of hell as "Tokyo Ghoul". Let's pray the next season is on point.
