Idk if the series can even decide who the Protagonist is. It's focusing too much on the human side of things, too less on Ainz-sama. All we ever get now is building up the humans just to see them falter to the might of Ainz-sama. Rinse and repeat. When the series focus on Ainz-sama and the gang again? You know... like S1...

Idk I really like the human development this season especially since I didn't like either Zanac or Jircniv much previously.

Its gonna get stale if we literally focus only on Ainz and his crew. You said it yourself, all the buildup only to get defeated by Ainz in the process. It would be the exact outcome regardless of whether or not we’re looking through Ainz’s POV or other character’s. Its why One Punch Man isn’t always in the perspective of Saitama, because lets be real here, even if its cool watching them be overpowered, its gonna get boring to watch real fast if they don’t shake things up.

The best way to make it interesting is to focus on the other perspective, see how everyone else reacts to Ainz’s power. It make us want to root for them, even if the chances of winning are slim. It adds stakes to the series, even if the stakes are not for Ainz. It also makes the world feel more alive.

There is the fun. See all them grown confidently bout their power, sometimes cocky and then got beaten easily by ainz.

the focus on humans or anyone who aren't a member of Nazirik is crucial to the story. You gotta accept.

Agree with you although it’s an unpopular opinion around these parts. There are too many POV characters and I feel like I constantly have to check who people are again and what their relevance to the big picture is.
I’m well aware that just watching Ainz and his posee just creaming everyone all the time would grow stale, but I think having a more focused external pov would add to the enjoyment for some of us.

It would be worsened if it was focused only on Ainz's POV all the time.

Human perspective (and other races) is like main attraction of this show since it enables us to see how terrifying Nazarick forces are actually.

Focusing too much on Nazarick would turn this anime into One Punch Undead instead.

Are you guys idiots? The show has been going the way it is for four seasons and it never scratched your mind thats the whole fucking point? Oh and for that stupid protagonist point anime can be made without using a single protagonist and it can work, the best example I can think of is re-creators

I mean pretty soon there won't be any humanity left in the MC. So before he completely looses it, I guess they want to show us how utterly inept humans can be.
