To keep it more to the anime discussion, I'd like to ask you guys this:

After 2-3 seasons, did you expect that:

- Ainz would just forever continue to EFFORTLESSLY dominate anyone in his way?
or
- humans or someone else would eventually become strong enough to oppose Ainz?

If you haven't watched "Fantastic Children", don't talk about "best anime". Thank you.

Neither, I would expect to be mostly about mind games, wich to be fair it had its fair share, but still it was quite small.

And to be honest I was more angry about that Slime Anime, since the humans felt like a genuine threat until the plot kicked in.
Quite disappointing from the Slime.

omg, dont get me started about Slime isekai. Rimuru is a villain for murdering all those soldiers and nobody can convince me of the opposite.

I mean, same can be said for Ainz, killing thousands of ppl on a “test run” of some new magic(albeit they were at war but still). Rimuru was not 100% in the right, but it was a retaliation brought on because humans don’t see monsters as intelligent beings, not a one-sided massacre from an overwhelmingly powerful opponent. Just my take tho, I love both shows

Classic: Ainz is a bad guy but he’s not a BAD GUY and same for Rimuru.
Most of the time their offenses have a reason. Especially Rimuru who had his city attacked burned down and 100s killed. Some people too soft fr. Actions have consequences. It just so happens the consequences here are a giant skeleton overlord and his minions nuking your entire kingdom.

I don't want a bad story. So, I chose the option where Ainz could always dominate all his opponents.

Just a suggestion, the options to choose from are still too few.

According to the author, the setting of this story is in the new world on the farthest continent. If Ainz was indeed aiming for world domination, then I hope that at least some players and guilds would appear in the new world and conspire to hold back domination or try to undermine the glory of Ainz Ooal Gown's kingdom or guild.

Yes, the deaths of Ainz's subordinates and the desperation of those who invaded Ainz's guild (which was extremely impenetrable due to the many dangerous floors and trap mechanisms) would be interesting to see.

Unfortunately, the light novel as the source of the anime's story has been confirmed to end in the 18th volume. Not enough to get to that groove.

he will probably just dominate everyone with ease, thats my one major criticism with this show is that there is no stakes or growth. i feel like if they could just make the humans at least once stand some sort of chance it would make the show much better but instead every fight is just "lets see how strong this human is, oh wow he was stronger than i thought! even though he literally couldn't land a single blow or do damage in any way to me. allow me to give him a warriors death and act like this is an emotional moment" just getting really old to me

uhhh... is the main character being a villain somehow a stain on a shows quality?

better stay away from hentai, eroge's, adult fiction, or... actually anything written for adults lol. because alot of protagonists outside of childrens programs designed to brainwash kids into being upstanding have something called believable, or mature characters.

and mature characters have flaws, and are sometimes outright terrible people.

desireless goodie goodies are flat out boring.

I really can't understand why an mc is only "good" if he's jesus.
