Humor is subjective, so you have to take every comment with a grain of salt.

All I could say is that I found the manga funnier than Konosuba. The comedy is similar to One Punch Man than Konosuba. Serious overarching plot, serious build up and comedic payoff with a MC who exists in the wrong universe.

I hope that the comedy in the anime faithfully adapts the LN like the manga did.

Konosuba was not funny to me at all where as the manga for this I thought was really good so if you like konosuba then I doubt this is gonna overtake that or anything. Guy above me is right, it's one punch man but for isekai

Is it really a parody? The girls at least look all boring and generic af, certainly lacks Konosuba's charm.

for me nope
It's nowhere near konosuba
It's entertaining but boring at sometimes
But not bad
The ln was 7/10 for me

Only thing this will kill are brain cells. Its not even Maou Gakuen levels of so absurd its funny. Its just bad.

tbh megumin's the only reason i watch konosuba. its comedy gets repetitive & boring quickly after the first season

How would it kill Konosuba in any way? Since it premiered that means the third season of Konosuba is canceled because this series killed it or something?

I couldn't see any parody in first two episodes, only similarity I noticed is bravado like in SAO. It's nowhere close to "Konosuba". In "Konosuba" it starts with Kazuma peeing himself and dying from shock. In "Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!" it starts with rape attempt and beating kidnappers to bloody pulp.

It's great, but a different beast from KonoSuba. KonoSuba is 100% comedy, while this relies more on its action scenes than comedy. I prefer KonoSuba, but like both.

Cid is not...

Infact i find him annoying...

& none in his harem are as funny as Kazuma's harem...

Nowhere close...
This has a plot while Konosuba have none...
