probably someone else, or the end of the anime(from what I Heard if they do S5 the anime will end) so they will make live in peace for Nazarick and other nations

Apparently, the author has said (Dont ask me the source. I too heard it from somebody else) he'll be ending overlord series in 18 volumes. Right now, Season 4 ended with Volume 14, with volume 12 and 13 yet to be adapted in the movie. If another season is announced, It will be the final season.

Here's what I checked about the next couple volumes and my thoughts on it.

"Paladin of the Holy Kingdom" arc divided into 2 volumes(12, 13). It's being adapted into a movie.

Similarly, "The Half elf God-kin" arc is also divided into 2 volumes(15, 16). So my guess is, They will adapt this into a movie as well.

We're getting a movie and then I think Overlord V will be the final season, since the light novel is wrapping up.

It'll really suck to see this series end as its one of a kind. I really hope even when it finishes we get something Overlord related cause this world is so interesting.

How did he pull a GRRM? He had been consistently releasing novels and the story is actually going to come to a conclusion.

I feel like the novels are structured pretty well and the story makes sense. The anime adaptation is a bit bonkers with a lot of stuff skipped or out of order but that really isn’t the author’s fault
