Will Ainz keeps being untouchable until the End? Or does the show has always been about about how untouchable he really is??

I'm actually still confused about why he tried to find his old friends whereabouts. To me it's still not even clear if his friends are equally evil to Ainz. I recall one of his warrior friends (sebas creator?) is someone who tell sebas to help people in need so i don't think he is truly evil. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So assuming one or more of his friends are indeed someone who're lawfully good, wouldn't they be pretty dissappointed with Ainz for a lot of evil deeds he's done?

Does Ainz try to look for his friends because he want someone to put an end to him?

Ainz personality is steal pretty unclear to me. Even if he does find his friends, it doesn't mean that they'd actually agree on being evil after all.

Ainz isn’t necessarily too evil, but I gather that he tries to find his friends because he feels lonely. He has to deal with Nazarick’s NPC and all their personalities, whilst also ensuring no harm comes their way or his. He has many things to consider, and finding his friends would alleviate his burdens that much more. Also, you have to remember that some of the actions of the other guild members were rooted in evil. Take Demiurge for example, he is a really evil NPC, and was created to be so by another member of the guild. I think they’d cut him some slack considering they aren’t all saints themselves. I don’t doubt that some would feel more strongly about acting with good will in mind though, such as Sebas’ creator.

I hear you on that, I think personally, that his friends would be in most ways alright with what he’s doing. Remember, Nazarick is a non-Human only guild, so to say that any of the other players from his guild would have any sort of residual attachment to the humans of this world is a bit of a stretch. Considering they each made different guardians with different personalities, and each guardian has the same baseline understanding that humans are a species beneath them.

Not to say there hasn’t been mutual respect at times for certain humans, but at the end of the day, I don’t think there’s been a single moment of dialogue that has anyone calling humans “equals” or anything like that

I think he’s searching for his friends simply cause he’s lonely. To any gamers who watches this, I know that at some time(depending on the genre) you were prob apart of a group that you met purely in-game that become closer than family at a point lol.

I think Ainz’s objective is really just that simple. He never wanted to interact with the outside world in a official capacity. However, when the Tomb was mistaken for a dungeon, had he left things as they stood, hundred or thousand of ppl would flock to Nazarick to try to make a fortune and none of the occupants have the patience or tolerance to let some humans trample the sacred grounds of their creators. War was inevitable, and I think with the other members of Nazarick there might’ve been less bloodshed, but only because that’d make more than one being at Ainz’s lvl of badassitude and no one wants the smoke that badđź’€

They’ll most likely be like “okay…”. Since most of the things they created are also part of the whole overlord thing.

But… and But… if they are normal people from our world, they’ll be taken aback by his decisions up to this point. I mean he’s been killing people just because he mistakenly said he wanted to take over the world, and went along with it since he doesn’t want to look stupid in front of his subordinates(or disappoint them despite the work they do).

[if only he never said that]

[I don’t think he will find any of his friend]

I don’t have any hope Overlord will end as nothing more than just a power fantasy, albeit really entertaining.

I find myself watching each episode hoping that he loses a minion or two. Everything is way too easy for him. He can kill a dragon by just closing his fist. He claims he's not evil to himself but slaughters humans like cattle, no matter their ability(from children to adults).

killing humans doesnt necasserally make him evil tho. to him humans are inferior in the same way we see monkeys and other animals to be inferior. if your house was suddenly attacked by monkeys, wouldnt you want them dealt with? sure in the modern age u could just have them taken away but this is not set in the modern age, it is set when they would have just wiped them out. if fact ainz holds possibly the most sympathy for them purely due to some of his friends. he is acting in a way that many human kingdoms likely did (i have no evidence on that but it seems like something humans would do) and we only see this as wrong because we have 'grown out of it'. annother angle is we kill thousonds of bugs a day, and from ainzs perspective humans are like bugs so hes doing better than us lmao

i think ainz or momongan being non-human character in game alter his personality too
because when he annihilated human in new world he realized that he doesn't feel any guilt or anything, and he's wondering is it him being an undead that make him feel this way
so maybe all of his friends will experience the same thing being non-human character

Based on current scenario irl, there might be a chance for that to happen. However, the world of Sazuki Satoru (Momonga) is totally different. The city he lived in is a near radioactive wasteland and he wear a gas mask to go to work. His only have an elementary school education. In order to get a high school diploma or higher level in his world, you need to come from a wealthy or privilege family. What we see in the anime is just the POV of the watchers.

is part of the problem (in or of) the series:
1) Ains is very carefull in his actions.
2) His minioms together can kill him
3) He wasn't the stronger in the game, se he is looking for someone stronger than him.
4) He is lossing his humaniry.
5) 4 season and 10 books and still not found the goal.
