| Excellent soundtrack, excellent sound design in general. The only fault I can find to this day, at least with this season's OST is that Hibiki sings at all. Other than that, the songs are mostly kickass, especially Carol's epic sounding climax song. I keep coming back to this anime every few months or so, and I probably like it more every time. Then again, the plot plays off something I have had an interest in (outside of anime/fiction) for at least the last 10 years - ancient civilization and technology, sound/resonance, and well, something else I can't actually name on S3 or it'd be a spoiler - this really is a unique anime. I think the soundtracks of the next few seasons aren't bad either, but they don't hold a candle to any of this. |
