Kino no Tabi has TONS of material that could be adapted and it's apparently pretty popular in Japan so maybe we could expect some more animated content in the future.
Anyway, if you want more definitely go check out the 2003 adaptation and the 3 OVAs, they're fantastic and have different stories or different takes on the same stories as the 2017 adaptation, most notably the Colosseum makes a lot more sense in the 2003 adaptation ^^

why wouldn't they? that's what they did for shows like hunter x hunter and FMA brotherhood
