It's ok you can watch entire second season then watch last three episodes of season one then you will understand this anime . Its so complicated anime and hard to understand so that's why watch order is best.

Steins Gate 0 ends with Okabe recording the video to be sent to his past self in 2010. Steins Gate isn't triggered until 2036 when Suzuha grows up and time travels to 2010 with full knowledge of the plan.

Zero Okabe never was gonna reach Steins Gate, but he set the stage for OG Okabe to successfully open the door. However instead of just letting himself die as he was fated to in 2025, he instead left by giving one last middle finger to fate by time traveling to the past to save Mayuri and Suzuha who were left stranded in 1800BC by granting them a spare battery for their time machine. What happens after he reaches them is left open ended, cos it doesn't matter what happens. Eventually this whole worldline ceases to exist once Okabe reaches Steins Gate.

Perfectly explained.
But wait, wasn't it 10000BC?

That's from the OG which was in the Alpha worldline. They're both completely different.

Because original series so confusing that's why everyone recommend watch order if you're smart and you can remember every little detail then you don't need watch order.

I honestly wish I watched it in chronological order instead, even though I wasn’t confused at all while watching it, and I can completely understand everything that happened. The Chronological order just seems more satisfying, as it ends on a high note that way, plus I felt like the ending of zero was predictable for the most part because
Obviously the same predictability would occur in the last 3 episodes of the first show, but I’d rather 3 episodes be predictable and cheery in comparison, than the whole 24 episodes of dread that 0 is. But on the other hand
it’s probably best to just watch it how it was designed to be watched, and if you ever choose to rewatch it, then you can change the order around. (Also I know, I let this get long, people probably aren’t reading it)

Bc it just makes more sense that way. At the end your still able to connect all the dots.

It's not complicated. You make it complicated with that watch order.

Goddamn not this shit again, that fucking watching order will only complicate things more and has ruined it to some people too so I don't recommend that shit at all, not to mention, I'm one of those people that dislikes Steins;Gate 0 so that watching order would have ruined it to me as well, stopping the climax of Steins;Gate to start from the beginning with that Steins;Gate 0 shit would have ruined it for me 100%.

I cringe when I see people recommending that Chronological Order shit (which btw, is not even chronological in the first place).

It's getting actually annoying how many people are recommending this dumb watch order. Yes I mean dumb your telling people to watch a time travel series in a chronological way. What sense does this make? This adds so much confusion to new watchers and this watch order only exists to make the series more complicated and make SG0 more relevant. There is way more cons to this watch order than pros. This series isn't complicated unless you make it complicated.
