| While I was expecting much more from this season in general, and while the finale ended up not incorporating as characters and plot points as I hoped to wrap the season up in a tidy bow, it still did a really nice job portraying Froggy 2 as a sympathetic character and showing that even as a fetus Wang Ling could probably solo the the entire universe, haha. The humor was great, with elements of earlier gag scenes playing a role in Froggy's actions, like his birthday mix up, and the entire Froggy vs Wang Ling verbal and physical battle was one funny joke after another. Additionally, I wonder of the entire Silvie storyline was just introduced to show that Wang Ling can create new worlds like he did for the demons in this episode. I would have to imagine that it was, though it would have been great to see Silvie again. It would have been neat to see Froggy fight Wang Ling using the legendary staff, but I guess Froggy knew it wouldn't have helped. It's still pretty impressive though that he could even wield it in the first place. It shows how powerful he is. Also, it's amusing how Froggy was already anticipating how asking Wang Ling stupid questions wouldn't help, and then he asks him a stupid question, and even without answering the question, whether he knew Froggy's birthday or not, Wang Ling just beats him up either way. It was a lose-lose situation for Froggy. In conclusion, while I was hoping for some grand finale tying all the storylines from the previous episodes and a bigger role from Lord Thunder, this season still managed to land a humorous and touching finale with Froggy 2. Hopefully season 4 can keep up the quality. |

| I wonder though, WHAT was Ling trying to say when Froggy kept interrupting him? :> Ling wouldn't have thought of the 'demon birthday-cake egg' thingy and asked Froggy about it if Ling didn't think of Froggy's birthday. i wonder if S4 is going to bring back the plotline of the 'butterfly people' and what happened to them? i guess my memory of S2 is fuzzy about that. what about Ms. Lin's 'spirit sword' being made from that one demon's 'golden sun ring halo' thingy from S2? would there be any repercussions for her having a 'spirit sword' that was partly made from a demonic item? also, what about Ling's wooden sword Jingke and its scabbard Bai Qiao? was Lord Thunder ACTUALLY that shady merchant Mr. Wang bought Jingke from? why did the merchant NOT have Bai Qiao the next day when the purchase actually happened? are the subs correct and Bai Qiao calls Jingke 'brother' when they are finally reunited in S3 or is their relationship as 'sword' male and 'sheath' female more ... uhh... appropriate? ;) |

| Even I would get mad at Wang Ling if he didn't remember my birthday, if I was Froggy 2. That flashback from the (was it the previous season or previous episode?) it kinda gave me some nostalgia from the past episodes. That was one of the scenes I can't forget. The cliffhanger made me want another season lol Reversing the OP and ED's sequence made this final episode of this 3rd season more enjoyable to watch. I'm looking forward to another sequel if possible!  |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Damn that Kyyumiya girl, what was her deal anyway and did she started liking zhuo yi or just embarrassed to be thanking someone cause of her pride? anyway overall the season was just fine and loved the songs. looking forward to next season. |

| Wait did they just change the story a little bit? It was clearly shown in Ep-2 (if I am not mistaken) on froggy's birthday they forgot but our boy Wang Ling remembered and gave him a gift, crispy noodles, he did ask how did the demon race celebrated your birthday. So how come he couldn't answer him when froggy asked when his birthday was! He also got a message or was it a reminder? But it was good the whole master mind behind was froggy the successor of the demon lord who was killed in season 2. Summary : Seriously what a turn of event. 1st a new girl comes to the city to become famous and plays dirty tricks. The middle story is all about other anime references. And it ends with a scheming plan of a close aquaintance. They really need to work on their stories because this whole season feels like OVA episodes. All in all the last part was cute with the staff holding and beach thing. Big hopes for season 4. |

| As expected, he got sick of being treated like shit despite constantly helping them out. The scene integrating the ED was nice. The stakes were lower than ever this season including the final, but I guess they went with the feels. Would've been a lot more convincing if they didn't treat Froggy like ass this entire time though. That said, this season is still overall better than S2, but still not S1 tier. Kyuumiya is a pretty forgettable "antagonist", especially if they wanted her to be a red herring. But there were some really good episodes this season, in particular the sword spirit episode and the episode where Zhou got outed. |
| I would give this season an 8.5 rating. It was more of a slice of life season as opposed to the other seasons that had big boss fights on the final episodes. Not that that is a bad thing because I do enjoy slice of life anime. That said, I always like seeing a boss that seems super strong just to get easily defeated by Wang Ling. The last episode was probably one of my favorites from the entire season because it alludes back to the 2nd episode because I really thought they just forgot about such a sad moment. That said, when Froggy 2 asked Wang Ling what his birthday was, he actually never got an answer so technically lost the wager. Maybe he made up for it though when we got the cute scene of Wang Ling hugging and petting baby Froggy 2. I also really like how on the last episode they played the ending first and then the opening last. BUT, what made it even better was they incorporated the actual ending animation into the series animation (When Wang Ling was sleeping on his couch) And finally, I don't think i've ever seen another anime do what this anime did for it's opening sequence. They brought it back as the ending song but they added voice acting and sound to it! That was really cool to see since, like I said earlier, I don't think I personally have ever seen another anime do this, but it would be REALLY cool if other anime did this as well! Overall, the 3rd season, like the others, was an enjoyable watch and I would give this season an 8.5 rating! P.S. - Baby Wang Ling was cute (I wonder what Sun Rong's reaction to seeing him as a cute baby would have been!) EVEN WANG LING'S INFANT FORM WAS STRONG ENOUGH TO BEAT FROGGY 2, LMAO! That goes to show just how strong he really is! |

| My favorite season of the 3 so far, season 3 > season 1 > season 2. The production for this series is perfect, the graphic, the animation, the sound direction, everything is so on point. My only gripe is that we do not know if Wang Ling actually knows Froggy's birthday. I still think Froggy 2 is undeservedly being treated like shit at this point, considering everything he's done to help them since. Hopefully he's treated better in season 4, he deserves it. It hurts me to see Wang Ling beat up Froggy 2, it almost felt like he didn't care about him. |
