| the ending gets rushed but the story is about a streamer trying to show the world that the events in the game (which are also live streamed but heavily censored/edited to not show its brutality) are real and that people are dying. We later find out that he is being backed by Himiko and the gang from the Light ending (yes, Sakamoto too). After the MC and love interest are presumed dead near the end, the organizers lose control of the game and the Himiko squad makes their appearance, announcing the forced (like the ending) conclusion of the game. Sakamoto finally appears and they apprehend everyone behind the game. The stream manages to convince most people, achieving the MC's goal. Fast-forward some time later and the MC and other survivors of this game are now working together with Himiko squad to prevent another BTOOOM! from arising in the future. |
