Why is Shidou also Wuhe Shidao?

I recently browsed through various websites and out of nowhere I saw Shidou being called Wuhe Shidao, would that be his name in another country, and why does it necessarily have to be another?

What? - I tried looking up the meaning and I couldn't even find anything for an origin or background meaning of Wuhe.

It's the pinyin of his name. Japanese and Chinese share lots of the same characters, and this is basically the pronunciation of his name in Chinese.

shido’s name written in kanji is 五河士道 (itsuka shidō). in mandarin, it’s spelt the same way, but pronounced “wu he shi dao”.
