Not necessary, could still be in development. Most likely even if it does cancel, the light novel will be better 9 times outta 10 anyway so it's not that big of a deal.

It's not canceled According to Bokuto Uno the author of Reign of the Seven Spellblades the production of anime is progressing smoothly and soon more information will be revealed.
