I just watched episode 1 of season 1 again and realized that what caused Sakura to wake up first was because she was fucked by Kotaro. Here are the hints; At 13:35, Kotaro told Sakura that "Just like you, with a little stimulation, they will wake up." Sakura who was surprised and curious about that asked, "Eh, what was done to me?", or so she said more or less. It was at 13:50, this is where I first noticed that Sakura's breasts were jiggling in a strange way, typical of either hentai or ecchi genres. I never saw anything like that again in the following episodes for 2 seasons. I'm sure that there is a hidden message here. Even though the creator doesn't seem to have any intention of hiding it, it's even more obvious that he really wants to show it, but in the subtlest way as possible so he not ruin the cheerful image of the story. Why am I so sure? Well, the creator reiterated that at 15:09, when Kotaro was boasting about his makeup skills to Sakura, he said, "But, yesterday you went and ran away after I tried on you." 

We return to the scene where Sakura first wakes up after the accident. She woke up beautiful and tidy alone in a dark room, then found others as messy chaotic zombies. After that she ran outside in the rain, causing her makeup to smudge. Mess-ups with a cop, get shot, then are saved by Kotaro, who may be tailing Sakura.
