| Asking people's opinions on the quality of a comedy isn't going to give you particularly useful info, but lets try. Golden Boy is a very 80s/90s anime comedy. As far as I'm concerned it's a great thing, but if peak anime comedy for you is Nichijou and Konosuba, it's probably going to be a miss. It's also a bit more adult than your usual show, both in terms of the jokes it cracks, and the ecchi it presents to the audience. It forgets to treat women like dumb funbags on legs, so modern ecchi fans might wonder what is going on. Overall, if you want some ecchi comedy that won't treat you like a boiling cauldron of hormones with the sense of humor of a 8yo boy, I'd say watch Golden Boy. Just don't watch ep 5 in public lmao |
