Should’ve been a movie

is it just me that kinda wishes this arc was a movie instead of a full season? i know there are some really valuable character introductions and back stories, but so far the season is moving kinda slowly. plus this arc doesn’t have much of the whole gang- primarily focusing on takemichi and chifuyu, haikkai and his family, and a sprinkle of mitsuya. the arc also covers a kinda short period of time, but i guess it does have a lot of chapters to cover… i’m talking myself out of it now but still generally think it would make a good movie. i am VERY excited for the end of the season, which could’ve been an amazing ending to a movie that gets people even more pumped for the next season. whatever, thoughts?

I don't see lindenfilms making any good movies if Tokyo Revengers is what we're talking about, i mean this animation would never achieve movie level animation even if the movie effort was put in.

the animation made the characters look kiddo and they lost the vibe of DELINQUENCY

S1 animation was still better

I'd completely agree, first few eps of the season were bad (i mean first 2) and when i say bad, not only in animation but also in lack of creativity of storytelling, i mean really really bad, however it's my opinion and it's no fact at all, btw recent eps have been much better and now it's starting to get fun like first season ignoring the plot holes obviously.

I get ur point. I thought it would cover some of Tenjiku’s arc as well before and I was kinda shocked when it turned out to be only Black Dragon arc🤷🏻‍♀️

After completing 4 episode I'm so desperate to know more, I'm waiting for mystery to finally expose. "Demo" I'm also a bit anxious that this awesome serie will had an end we might be not able to see them again then also everything is well as it ends well.

i can already see the hate post you would have made if it really was movie and say smth like how bad it was and that they should've done it as a normal anime season..
the whole movie would just look like a recap of the actual season. Just watch till the end and then create a thread whether it would have been better to make a movie or not (with valid reasoning obviously)

maybe the last episode could have been done in 8 minutes and there's a lot of repetitive or pointless dialogue but idk about crunching it into a movie.
