Hi! I just finished watching the anime, and I plan to read the manga once I catch up to the episodes released so far in season 2. What chapter do I continue from? And are there any differences between the manga and the anime? If so, are there any chapters I should reread? Thanks, and no spoilers beyond the adapted chapters please! :D

my advice will be to complete S2 the black dragon arc in anime than you shift to manga from chapter 118

or if so keen than after s2 ep5 start reading from chapter 92

I’d wait till after season two ends because it’s after this arc that the story gets really good

There’s a big difference between the anime and the manga in that the visual attention to detail is way better in the manga.

Especially the faces. Compared to the incredibly carefully drawn faces of the manga, the anime faces look like assgarbage.

If you don’t care about that just skip the anime chapters but if that sounds like something you care about you might want to read from the beginning.

Hi! Thank you for your response! I continued the manga from where the anime left off and I'm at ch 188 now. I do see what you mean! The manga art is absolutely gorgeous and it keeps getting better and better. I really liked the anime too though, so I'm fine with continuing the manga after that. But I'll definitely read from the beginning whenever I decide to reread the manga haha

The anime has a few little changes that don't matter at all, for exmaple in the manga Takemichi is the one that scratches the car instead of some kids, but I think the kids made more sense.

The anime also adds more things like having Baji and other characters that will matter in the future, but when the manga was in that part, those characters either didn't exist or just didn't appeared yet, making it more natural when they will appear in later episodes or arcs.

Thanks for you response! I really like those "flavor" changes, as you said, it makes it a lot more natural. I have now completed the manga, and if I ever reread it, I'll do it from the beginning since this time I picked up where the anime left off.
