As for Arifureta season 2, that’s not hard to beat. I don’t even think it was terrible per se, but wasn’t good either. I don’t think it needed a season 2 as much as a bunch of other anime.

the animation looks really good and think it has the potential to be better MC is isekai twice for what the trailer shown so far it's looking better I mean we can't say for sure unless someone has read the ln then they can say with certainty we'll just have wait and see when it's released

both are isekai the difference is that in arifureta he was betrayed but with this MC idk

Well, Arifureta is complete and absolute utter shit, so being better shouldn't be difficult. But this one sounds hideous too, but I don't know anything about the series, so idk.

As it stands currently, Arifureta the anime isn’t that hard to beat. It all depends on whether they’ll run into the same production issues with season 3 as they had with s1, and s2 to some extent as well. Not to mention the weird choice to cut 90% of the staple chuuni humor from the story when they adapted it as an anime
