| I agree with PoisonedSandwich and TigreDemon that the problem ain't the plot twists, but how poorly they were written. | You haven't much in your list, and you've rated nearly everything in it either a 10 or a 9... and the types of anime you've given a 10 do not instill much confidence. Like with this show Spy Classroom, probably the best way to enjoy it is stop treating it like it's as smart as it pretends to be. Treat it like a CGDCT and just watch it for the characters. Everything that happens in it has to do with the different girls' personalities. The slight-of-hand shit isn't important. |

| I haven't read the novels but going through the light novel titles, it does look like each girl essentially gets her own "novel" and we get to learn more about each. Also this goes hand to hand with the voice actors who they hire since they all seem to have many credits and/or singing careers. I noticed Miku Itou got a lot of attention on her twitter for this episode. They probably should have pushed a figure of Grete before Monika since it will take forever to get to Monika's light novel So it is not just the intial popularity but the format of the light novel series probably meant a lot of top seiyuus auditioned for the roles |
