 The official website of the Jashin-chan Dropkick (Dropkick on my Devil!) anime series announced a special episode on Friday, revealing a key visual (pictured above). Subtitled Seikimatsu-hen (End of Century Edition), the episode is being produced by animation studio Makaria, and will premiere on BS NTV this Winter. This episode is being made in collaboration with the Takamori town, located in the Kumamoto Prefecture. The first season debuted in 11 episodes in Summer 2018, with the 12th episode airing on October 1 of that year. The second season streamed exclusively on Amazon's Prime Video platform in April 2020. Jashin-chan Dropkick X (Dropkick On My Devil!! X), the third season, aired in 12 episodes in Summer 2022. Crunchyroll streamed the anime with subtitles. A three-episode original video anime (OVA) was announced in January following a successful crowdfunding campaign, which concluded with over 115 million yen (approximately US$907,000). Jashin-chan Dropkick adapts Yukiwo's supernatural comedy manga, which he launched on Flex Comix's online magazine Comic Meteor in April 2012. The 20th volume shipped on December 12 last year. Synopsis Objects falling from space have reduced Jinbouchou to ruins. Jashin-chan, guided by the stars, heads south to defeat Yurine Hanazono, the ruler of this violent town.
