easily Subaru, but that's kinda unfair since he's the Protagonist

the best written side-character is Beatrice or Julius (at least in Arc 6) imo

Subaru-kyun.
Cringe but true enough.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Emilia, although it's a tough choice, there are a lot of great characters. Flame me if you want, but Subaru is not the best character, he's not even in my top 5, like honestly the things that he does can be outright creepy & the things he says make me want to strangle him, but I get why you guys like him. I like him too, just not as much as y'all do...
