Question regarding what to put for App Redirect URL if I'm using the API locally

I'm trying to create a bash script in Linux that will automatically update the number of watched episodes of an anime when it detects that mpv has finished playing an episode. I would be using the API locally, so it's not connected to any website. Because of this, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to put for the App Redirect URL and Homepage URL. Is doing something like this not allowed? I'm new to this sort of thing and I'm not too familiar with APIs. Any help is appreciated.

@nichii29: Hi! You can simply set your Homepage URL to your MAL profile page and your Redirect URL to something like http://localhost/oauth

Hey! Bit too late but a neat trick here: I placed localhost with a random port, and started a webserver locally, so I could automatically grab de auth code and complete the process.

It’s time to ditch the text file.
Keep track of your anime easily by creating your own list.
