Hello,

Is there a way to get multiple anime details in one query?

Something like this :
https://api.myanimelist.net/v2/anime/1,37430,46569?fields=id,title,main_picture,related_anime

I need it to find anime sequels from user list because the following query doesn't give me the sequels :
https://api.myanimelist.net/v2/users/kilardo/animelist?fields=id,related_anime&limit=2

Hi @kilardo, it's not possible to retrieve the related anime of a set of entries with a single query. You have to check them individually.

I need exactly this function, does anyone know how to solve it? Call 25-100 anime details one by one can take a long time and resources.

@taki133 It depends on what you're looking for. If you need to query 100 random anime IDs, you can only request them individually.

But if they're part of a collection (e.g., seasonal anime, anime in a user's list, top x anime from the popularity ranking), you can obtain the details for all of them with a single request. You just need to add the fields parameter.

@ZeroCrystal I know what you mean about the ranked and seasonal animes, but there are exact malID in the list that I want to query. For example: 40748, 51179, 50002, 53887, 41025 btw. so and there will be around 40-50 of such a list, which I would like details on.

@taki133 In that case, the only way possible is by querying them one by one.
