 The official website of the Boushoku no Berserk (Berserk of Gluttony) television anime unveiled additional cast, staff, and the first promo on Thursday. The anime is set to premiere in October 2023. Misato Matsuoka (Yuusha, Yamemasu) and Hitomi Sekine (Shinobi no Ittoki) are joining the cast as Myne and Eris, respectively. Mariko Kunisawa (Honzuki no Gekokujou) is handling the series composition. Takafumi Furusawa (Edens Zero animation director) is designing the characters. The anime adapts Ichika Isshiki's action fantasy novel, which began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2017 before transferring to Kakuyomu in March 2022. Micro Magazine began publishing the series under its GC Novels imprint in November 2017, featuring illustrations by fame. The eighth volume was released in October 2022. Daisuke Takino began drawing a manga adaptation on Micro Magazine's Comic Ride website in March 2018. The tenth volume was shipped on April 27. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the light novel and manga in English in July 2020. The seventh light novel and eighth manga volume went on sale in October 2022 and July 4, respectively.
