Edit: The issue with the number of episodes has been corrected and the proper discussion post for episode 15 is here: https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=2112372.

Just so everyone knows, the information page has the wrong number of episodes (should be 15 instead of 14).

The political intrigue at the end is really interesting. The quote that "it's not a matter of jiangshan (literally rivers and mountains, meaning the country), but a matter of jianghu (literally rivers and lakes, meaning the world of wuxia)" is really exciting.

Notice the dichotomy between jiangshan and jianghu; jianghu is like a parallel setting that exists alongside normal society (jiangshan). This distinction is quite common in wuxia media.

The quote also suggests that the Sui government will not use ordinary methods like a trial or public execution against Zhi Shilang, but rather lawless methods like hiring assassins to eliminate him.
