What an episode. Bright. I was already thinking about the famous saying "a piece in the hand is worth two in the bush" when Lecoque announced his plans to the general of the 6th Army, among others.
First, surprise that the military man decided to communicate this to Von Stein.
Second, I honestly thought Von Stein was going to try to kill Lecoque. Really, if you think about it, within the Earth's chain of command, after Lecoque, who is there? It is clear that there are officers, but none of them occupy an important role in the saga in my opinion, except Rick, and he is no longer "in office." But on the other hand, if he tried to kill him it would be difficult to justify, since among other things Lecoque "is serving the interests of the Earth" and ((clearly his own)). I am surprised by Von Stein's naivety but he is coherent. On the one hand he never wanted to be Donan's dog, but nevertheless in practical terms he was. Thus, he became nervous if "in front of His Excellency, he made mistakes." Here we can see the great difference that the series makes palpable between the military and the politicians. Von Stein's idea wasn't that bad, but he still had discriminatory treatment towards his own countrymen in his own army! But of course, maybe it wasn't his army, but one effectively controlled by Earth.

It is therefore surprising that he was ultimately willing to surrender to the rebels in such a state of affairs. Very fast Lecoque. Awesome. Regarding the assassination attempt on Donan, the series has been very good, because the director has shown how Lecoque first hesitated, then prepared to do it, and it was the appearance of the other servant that prevented him from doing it. Although Donan's days were already numbered. An excessive dependence on his secretary. Not even Donan himself could have foreseen it. In this sense, it might be surprising how the servant did not say anything about what happened, especially when it comes to the health of his "Master". Very good Lecoque calm there.

As for Lecoque's plan, it is undoubtedly fragile because it is not the typical plan that was preconceived for centuries, but rather it has emerged as a last resort and has had to depend on people like Dustin. Incredible. As for its executability, I don't see it as very feasible. Lecoque will surely have a bad end, especially if Donan dies and Earth Federation finds out, because that would mean a change of officers and so on. At the same time, the rebel army has yet to take down the sixth army, but if he did so, then Lecoque would be lost.
It seems that the reaction of the general of the 6th army will be key.
