This wasn't just a fight for right but one could determine the fate of the show. For what's worth, it seems the finale/season decided Rafal would become the big obstacle the fairies and Shall had to get through.

Ann shouldn't be underestimated either cause she is still the heart of the show. I do believe this anime sets a standard for the season's finale though and well worth it after all the buildup.

Challe is in trouble, and Anne seeks help before he is killed by Lafalle, with Lusul and the others escorting Anne to safety, and the humans racing to their aid. Even though Lafalle conceded and feeling betrayed by Challe, all the other fairies got back their wings and the command to be free.

With the whole commotion over, Anne and Challe made it back to the mansion where Orland has made a recovery, and the sugar confectionary work aided by Keith, it's all done with 10 days to spare for the Holy Beginnings Festival. For Bridget to be caring to Anne, her engagement with Elliott dissolved and her love for the sugar confection workshop grew, all for the better. And all of the pieces gathered in the last 3 days to create big and bold trees.

Talking about the Fairy King, Challe isn't ready for that yet, but at the very least, he'll be attached to Anne for the rest of his life. Anne wishes Challe the same as the fomer puts all of the pieces together for the final presentation, as her role will play the bridge between humans and fairies. Having done a great deal for the Paige Workshop, the Silver Sugar Master experience is still aways away to build experience.

Part 2 is vastly improved over Part 1, but still feels decent overall.

I really hope Rafal is gone for good this time. However, I also think that he will be back in the future.
Finally, it's a happy ending for Anne and for everyone. ngl, I really love the chemistry between each character from the Page workshop.

Damn the animation is so smooth.
Lafalle is definitely gonna appear again if there is another season.
Surprised they actually managed to make everything in time. They even had time left.
21:20 The childhood friend magic is doing its thing!
Such a well done episode. But I wanted a confession *sad*.

Part 2 was better than part 1 imo. But both are decent. Also 3D models for the confections were really nice.

Felt a little rushed the conclusion of Rafal's plan, but like Shall said, this isn't the time to worry about that.

Hugh planning to make Anne the next Silver Sugar Viscount.

I'm very happy to see that Orland and Bridget, can be a thing now.

Hope to have another season. I need to see diamond.

  • The old castle with a spiral staircase reminded me of ICO.
  • Although many profiles were depicted in this episode, they seemed kind of weird; especially, the zoom-up picture of Ann's eye looking from the side, while she was shedding tears.

Marvel films have conditioned me to believe no body= no death lol. Feel like LaFalle may still be out there somewhere. Did not get a definitive shot of his body after his fall.

Turns out without his army of minions he’s not so big after all. Kind of an anticlimactic finish to what seemed like it would be a pretty intense final standoff with him. Some cool animation for like 30 seconds during that confrontation with Challe, but then it was over. At least the fairies he recruited are finally free to live as they wish.

Back to Paige workshop we go where everyone has been hard at work on the project for the festival. Christmas tree sculptures are really ideal for this time of year. They turned out beautiful thanks to everyone’s hard work.

Meh again, they’re pushing Bridget’s forgiveness arc. Still don’t like her and don’t think her upbringing excuses everything she’s done, but I accept she’s recognised the error of ways and wants to support the workshop now.

“I will keep the vow I made. I will stay by your side forever” aww, can you imagine Challe from season 1 saying that? Total 180 with his character and some really good development with he and Anne in this season. I’m ngl I’m kind of disappointed we didn’t get a straight up confession between the two or a kiss.

The last few episodes had so much romantic tension between the two of them, but it didn’t pan out the way I expected. Yea, Challe’s actions and his vow make it somewhat obvious, but it hasn’t been physically expressed yet.

Regardless, still a lot of progress, some good world-building and an overall better story. This was even better than the first cour which I loved a lot. Onto the books.

all that and anne and challe still didn't kiss? didn't even say they love each other?? hoping there's another season in which their relationship actually progresses somewhat. didn't even get any progress with bridgette and orland either, smh.

the sugar confections they made were truly stunning. especially the huge one right front and center. they all really came through to bring recognition to the paige workshop.

in regards to challe and lafalle and the whole fairy king thing, i have a theory that idk has been said before. imo neither challe or lafalle seem very king-like. i don't think either are meant to be a king. other high ranking positions like captain of the knights or something, sure. but not a king. so what if that diamond that still hasn't been born is meant to be the king, and challe and lafalle meant to be the king's knights? just a theory about what could possibly happen in any possible future seasons.

Lafalle got away -_-

Even though this season had some unnecessary drama just like last one it wasn't that bad because we got more wholesome sequences and more cast members being involved . Would love to see more of this let's see if it gets a sequel

The sugar Christmas trees are beautiful. Christmas season feels! I'm a little sad it ended. But I'm glad not in a way as part 1. I want more Challe and Anne moments. Hoping for season 2. One of the anime that I've enjoyed from start to finish.

That guy totally didn't die and it's obvious. Expected better romantic moments from the last episode, meeh.
Part 1 cliffhanger was crazy, this is a decent continuation of the story but the quality is lower, i easily prefer part 1 except for the cheap mid drama in the second half. 6/10

It is a shame Bridget changed off screen but I can't be mad about it, she got her shit together and finally appreciates what has always been on her side, it was great to see how much Hugh appreciates and respects Ann, it ended a bit anticlimatic but it was also a bitter sweet ending, reminder that fairies' life can be short and awful, will Lusel El Min and the others escape, die, get to see the ocean? and ofc that sad moment of Ann and Shall, both love each other but understand that they are from different worlds. I'm going to miss the crew.

Good ending for the show! The Christmast-y ending was very lovely. ^^ I'm also happy Bridget broke her engagement and can now pursue Orland. It was nice the ending ended on a high note.

Hopefully, they'll make a second one because when Rafal went and dropped himself, I wonder what happened to diamond...

The only thing thing this episode left me with was a bunch of questions like:

Do fairies with one wing ripped off absolutely lose their ability to fly? Cuz I 100% thought Rafal definitely survived and I was expecting him to appear at some point in the episode afterwards to wreck havoc but it was super quiet and tame....

And why did they not like confirm his dead body or something? Actually I guess they never really show or explain if a "dead" fairy leaves a body I guess....but still quite a loop hole for them to not attempt to try to confirm it, instead there's a time time skip.

Also I still hoped Ann would be the one to "wake" the diamond fairy but alas, we can only presume it's been temporarily lost/misplaced. I mean, I HOPE it's brought up again, and not become yet another "adversary" like Lafal (cuz that would be too damn repetitive).

Overall it's a cute ending but....it's a bit obvious they've left a handful of things vague and open-ended that on-one-hand I'd probably be fine if it's never continued but would be nice if it was expanded/continued later...

Hmm this feels like a setup for another season. I was expecting LaFalle to attack again but I guess he’s licking his wounds for now. The ending felt a little sad and Challe not finishing his thought about what forever means made me curious.

Honestly that was great episode to deal from short fight sequence from Shall and Rafal to new year celebration in The end.

Are Rafal just died or he just escape through forest, Hopefully he not gonna be around Ann and Shall anymore, Well I hope so.

Shall give the fairy in the castle their wing which mean their are free,. Looks like Lusel El Min will go to see the sea too with her friend. Hope she can see with her glorious eyes.

As expected arrival of Ann and Shall make the whole Page Crew happy and supisingly their job already done. So as usual Ann will make another sugar apple to the church that's gonna make even more awesome than before.

The Relationship Ann and Shall was really developed to a point shall make a vow to ann that he was gonna be her side forever is make me blush in the face. Shall you really have developed your personality from the first time we see you.

I don't mind if we gonna get another season of Sugar Apple Fairy Tail. Is not perfect series but I have a good time watching it. I hope we can see more Ann adventure ahead.
8/10.

P.S. : Heck Yeah, Their bring back the lullaby from the first trailer, That's what I talking about. Eventhough is just use once but better than never use it.

Too bad Lafalle escaped without getting some karma but at least the festival is a succes and also nice to see everyone having a good time together. Hopefully if s3 ever comes Jonas and Bridget will redeem themselves more, we'll see some more Challe x Ann moments and of course some more of the best character Mythrill Rid Pod (and Benjamin)!

It's really... I hate to say this but I hope Rafal isn't dead. I don't want him to die by his own hand before Shall even has a chance to hurt him. Besides, it's obvious that Shall will betray him, he just almost killed Shall. Did Rafal really expect Shall to be loyal to him?

And now Bridgett and Ann are besties? Well that's cute. I was a bit surprised that she called off her engagement to Elliot, but it was much better and actually the right thing to do. I'm rooting for her with Orlans.

The scene where Mythrill pushed Benjamin to walk faster was adorable, hahaha. These little fairies are so cute, I was really hoping Lusul would join them...

Overall it's not much different from part 1, although I think the drama and conflict is better (should we say it's all thanks to Rafal? Lol).

Looking at the ending, I don't think it's possible to get a season 2... but, yeah, if there is one, I'd be really happy.

I 1000% need to see another season , ngl I wanna see even more new faces , obviously more Anne and Challe and I Definitely want to see if diamond ever comes into the picture and maybe if Anne and Challe ever admit to their feeling because idk if it was just me but I was slightly diaspointed there was so much romantic tension the last few episodes and then boom the buildup to the no closure so I Definitely think they could make a s3 maybe with a new foe more sugar confections maybe a new contest AND MORE ROMANTIC PROGRESSION plus I also forgot to mention we never say if Lafalle was " dead " we know he fell but Challe didn't watch him the entire time so he could still be alive for all we know. For all we know he could go recruit the Diamond fairy become even stronger and really make things messy for our Mcs

This is a lame ending for Lafalle but he's probably not dead anyway. Though for everyone this is finally time to rest and give back the fairies their wings, the festival decorations looked really good for the New Year and obviously we have Challe following Anne no matter what she plans to do, but with this stopping point there could easily be another season I believe.

When Rafal told Shall "so I got betrayed by my friend again" I went "Friend???" Rafal is very likely alive, and he has the diamond gem so they will surely come back. With all of Rafal's doings in the series, I remember in Sugar Apple Radio where the JP VAs of Hugh, Cat, Shall and Ann introduce the new characters for this season. With Rafal it was said jokingly "his VA is Saitou Souma, something is surely up with him!" lol

Ann just got out of an extremely dangerous situation but immediately asked about the progress of the sugar candy work when she came back. I thought there would be a group hug of the workshop crew with Ann, aww 😆

When Shall said that he'll continue his vow of being with and protecting Ann so she can be happy - I literally cried ;; they respect each other's freedom, so despite all of Shall's devotion he still acknowledges that Ann might choose not to be with him, and it is the same with Ann's reply that she wants him to have his own happiness. My mind played a scenario of what will happen because of their very different life spans (which added to my suffering). But Shall mumbled "The meaning of forever..." hmm???

The mystery of what really happened with the human/elf king before, and if there is really a purpose for the gem fairies are interesting questions. I really enjoyed this series.

Is Rafal really gone? Only time will tell.

For now at least, the threat is gone, and the confections have been completed, and all is well. I guess we'll see Ann, Shall and Mythrill Rid Pod continue their adventure, supposing that another season gets made.

Not the finale I expected but it was nice to see all the characters working together for the last time. (But on a side note... I don't think Rafalle died).

Of course the conclusion itself was beautiful but I honestly don't know how to feel about this. I guess I need to process first. I don't think what Hugh said was right... Anne did plenty to help the paige academy. But I think I know what he meant. So maybe the beginning of a new journey and hopefully a 3rd season?

We definitely need one. Because if there's something that makes me feel disappointed it's the fact that... We didn't even get a kiss? Like seriously? Are they for real? TT___TT

Even when both of them said the other person should fall in love with whomever they want I felt like... How? So not really the finale I had hoped for but as long as we get a third season it's alright.

yeah lafalle's definitely not dead, and i love how the show just kinda... glossed over the resolution to the whole "hey there's a band of fairies killing people" thing 😂
like did the band of knights show up, ann told them the fairies ran away, and they were just chill with that?????

also i am unexpectedly a big fan of brigette and orland, they're kinda cute together?? wish they would've shown us more of those two tbh! and i would like to shake the hand of whoever decided orland needed an eyepatch, they are a genius lmao

really hope we get a season 3!! (or... a season 2? whatever, we need more please LOL)

What an underwhelming ending.

The whole arc with the villain was so rushed and felt so out of place, then there's the fact that their idea of the ultimate candy piece to end the series was.. a fucking christmas tree.

Very imaginative, as if we already haven't seen fucking Christmas shoe-horned into every other modern day anime, even an anime in medieval fantasy setting has it now. This is why it's important to educate yourself of the world beyond your borders kids, especially as writers and artists (though in this case, it was probably the writer's fault).

First the slavery thing was played for a joke in most of the anime, became a secondary plot while MC's love interest is part of the same slave race, but the love interest has the personality of a piece of wood so he had nothing else to do but follow 15yr old MC like a horny puppy. Then the silly villain and even though I was fine with the festival arc, they ruin it completely by making the ultimate piece a christmas tree.

What a disappointment this series became the closer it got to the end.
