| Episode was aired on TV an hour earlier due to sporting events taking over the usual timeslot. https://twitter.com/Zom100_anime_JP/status/1705836965621371077 It's sad that this will be the final episode as of the TV broadcast. Streaming is delayed 1 day after as always. The COMPLETE OP, with Beatrix finally added in, is a stylish BANGER! Akira's conversation with his country farmer of a father, it sure did not go well, but he's going back to his hometown of Gunma meet him after 3 years. On the way, the onslaught of zombies blocking the tunnel forces the quad to take the mountainous road, which they encounter an old man of Masaru Kumano running away from a zombie boar, with Beatrix shooting it. The master carpenter, having built a treehouse in the middle of the woods, which is one of Akira's bucket list, and that takes precedence over family. With that, both guys embrace the creation of the treehouse, but Kumano's family was bitten by zombies, and he had no choice but to even kill his own kin to ensure survival. And after much effort, they built their own treehouse, and that bucket list can be marked off the list. Through mountainous terrain, Akira's village draws near despite Kencho and Shizuka's dumbfoundedness about the village child, but what's left of the village...could it be that zombies had invaded the village? And what they found was Akira's parents and the entire villagefolk doing a dance, which Akira thanked them for raising him, though he got too hasty due to the zombie apocalypse. And with this being one of bhis bucket list of items, Akira wants to repay his parents, though they're fine with him, especially his dad who brings him out for farming. But the truth is that Akira's father doesn't have long to live, and passing by a group of guys, whom Akira saw one of them before, he faced the same circumstances as the former, and even wants to have his own bucket list...created by psychopaths, outcasts and society's unwanted into a life of violence. Hopefully this 86/Isekai Ojisan treatment will not leave us waiting for more of Zom 100. |

| Episode 9 aired an hour than usual today. Raw is out. A nice change of scenery with the forest. Also glad to see Bea and Shizuka getting along even though they just became friends. All the goofy moments aside, it was nice to see leadership and every character contribute on their journey this time. Hard work was still evident as everyone had to be a unit together. It was just fun seeing everyone being a team player. |

| That dude looks like he just escaped from a rehabilitation centre, though to think even he has those same kind of aspirations like Akira... it's kind of easy to guess what sort of contents he might have inside his dairy. Though gang helped the old man, and it's another item marked of the list. Now to whenever last 3 episodes come.. though I think it won't be this year at the very least. |

| I watched this raw while reading the manga. Btw did they just leave the sushi chef to die last episode? What if he wants to be a farmer in the countryside? Nothing wrong with that. The new OP is so good! OPs with characters dancing are always a treat. 4:04 推して参る (oshite mairu) - an expression I've never heard before. It basically means "paying an unannounced visit; rudeness". 5:07 Is this German? What did she say? Damn this measuring lifehack is really cool. The author must've had some experience with stuff like this. This old man is so cool His story really got me emotional It was cut how they were building the treehouse while being attacked by zombie boars. Beatrix killed all of them with a bow. (+some rearrangements) I think the anime version is better actually. This was literally "PANIK kalm EMOTIONAL kalm" They didn't have to go so hard for this sequence. But they did. Damn beautiful.  Wunderbar! Oh I think extended that guy's backstory! He pisses me off but people like these are bound to exist. The happy ED feels out of place here lmao Sooo when is the next episode coming out? I'm willing to wait as much as needed tbh. |

| Episode was pretty boring, zombies in some shots looked bad and recycled at times with just different timings when zooming out and the general animation felt stiff overall. Feel like the constant delays have killed the momentum completely for me on top of the downfall of quality since the start and the fact that there's no announcement yet for the final 3 episodes does not help one bit. What a shame. Hopefully they can at least release those episodes together on the same day eventually. |

| This show really speaks to anyone coming of age in the last 20 some years but mixes it with humor and action so as not to be too preachy. I really like it. |

| Akira returns to his hometown, but what awaits him there? Parents, zombies, and troublemakers... It was a bit nerve-wracking to see if Akira's village was still intact or not, and the status of his parents, but it seems they're alright, though it does seem that Akira's father is set up to meet his end at some point, which I'm not sure is the best way to handle this, as it feels a bit forced to me. There were some wholesome moments in there with helping the old man, and Akira did raise an interesting question, the question of how someone can repay their parents for all the hard work they've done. There's no universal answer to that, but I'm sure Akira will find his own answer to that. At the end, there also seemed to be another person with a bucket list just like Akira, along with a group of social rejects who want chaos. This will be the last episode until further notice, and given the packed tv schedule of the fall season, I don't expect to see another episode this year. To this point, I have found this series to be excellent in its comedic, over the top moments, but a bit mediocre in its dramatic moments. We'll see how the final three episodes play out whenever they come. |
| And now we don't know when the next episode is coming out. We are now into a new arc where people have guns, but that's the gun laws in Japan. This was a good episode and we get...a dark version of our cast that wants to commit evil acts. I hope they are not going to destroy the barrier as those guns they have won't do shit. |

| The episode actually got me pretty emotional during his initial reunion with his parents. Definitely felt the sentiment of wanting to pay them back. This introduction of an antagonist does not bode well for the village. |
