The official website of the Tokyo Revengers television anime series revealed on Saturday a pair of additional cast members for the Tenjiku-hen (Tenjiku arc). The third season is scheduled to premiere on October 4 at 12:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo, followed by MBS, AT-X, and 32 other stations.

Kengo Kawanishi (Dr. Stone) and Nobuhiko Okamoto (Ansatsu Kyoushitsu) are joining the cast as Souya Kawata and Haruchiyo Sanzu, respectively.

Official HIGE DANdism's "White Noise," which was used as the opening theme of Tokyo Revengers: Seiya Kessen-hen (Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown) will be the opening theme of this season.

Kouichi Hatsumi (Gangsta.) returns to helm the third season at LIDENFILMS. Other returning staff includes Yasuyuki Mutou (Deadman Wonderland) as series composition, Kenichi Oonuki (Golden Kamuy) and Keiko Oota (Gyakuten Saiban: Sono "Shinjitsu", Igi Ari!) as character designers, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Jujutsu Kaisen) as music composer.

The series adapts Ken Wakui's action manga, began serialization in Kodansha's Weekly Shounen Magazine from March 2017 and ended on November 16. Kodansha shipped the 31st and final volume on January 17.

Kodansha USA began releasing the manga digitally in English in 2018. The 31st and final volume went on sale on June 13. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in 2021 for physical releases in omnibus editions. Volume 13 and 14 shipped on September 5 and the 15th and 16th volumes are scheduled to release on November 14.

@Memore I don't know how popular it really is, but if it's really a hit, they'll obviously adapt the manga to the end.

@RobertBobert, yes, problem is that it is the longest Arc in the manga. Material can't fit in 13 episodes.

@Memore You don't want it to stop mid-sentence and leave you waiting for the rest?
