The cg hate comes through, once again

I think the pacing is more of a problem than the cg
But asides from it looking like some game models (which doesn't bother me at all) you can see that in a lot of parts the mouth doesn't match with the voice, that's what bothers me. A lot of times or they are talking with the mouth closed or they are not talking and the mouth it's open, or just doesn't match at all
It's not a bad cg, they actually handle quite well the important parts, the backgrounds were amazing. But it could be better...

@Gui_silva23 Your points about the cg are pretty much correct but heres the thing that i already stated, anime fans dont know the difference between decent cg or bad cg, mfkers were saying that this shows cg was slighly better than Ex arm???????????. Anime fans views on cg is incredibly skewed, and it can get 2 emotions out of you, confusion mixed in with how can people be this inept or Laughter. but anyway the pacing was kinda quick which is wierd but ok, then the fighting scene which i thought was pretty good, especially with the red mixed in with this black color effect, then a little bit of choreography

CGI shows actually have to be really good to make up for how ugly they often look, which is obviously rare.

The CGI is not too bad neither is it good. I like the plot of the anime as well as the storyline. Animation is okay I guess but the CGI is what gave it low ratings.

@IhnalakoKaina Imo i think that the art and designs are pretty good tbh, and then the flashyness kinda gives it a little more flavour to it but thats just my opinion some people dont like that type of style which is fine. For the premise and plot............ its Yoko Taro, so i can expect anything at this point lol, its like going into a fujimoto work and not expecting a character to say something out of pocket . But anyway. With your comment and the one below and above, once again proves my point that Anime fans see two sides, Bad or Good cg no where in between, Which is kinda skewed. but hey im talking about anime fans, the same people that will say "Mordern Anime is filled with nothing but isekai", but yet will miss about 9 shows that season that arent iskeai garbage

I shouldn't need a degree in art to know if something looks good or not. This anime looks like trash, simple as that. It might technically be good CG, but if it hurts to look at then there's nothing u can say about it that'll change my mind.

i don't mind the art-style or the CGI, but the bright vibrant colors coupled with the fast sequenced scenes as well as the lack of frames does strain and wear down the eyes quite a bit, gonna have to take a nap after a single episode lol

Rather than "cg hate," I'm simply not a fan of the art style. I'm not dropping the anime bc of it, tho. The story is interesting enough to keep watching. I don't usually get used to (or eventually become blind to) this art style, but who knows, eh? This might be the one.

I agree but not for the reason you think. I've seen anime fans call mediocre CG "great" or "some of the best" all the time because standards in anime CG are so low.

I think the way its animated looks alright, but the models and character designs are horrendous and doesnt work in 3d

Some of the people calling this bad on Twitter I’ve seen call land of the lustrous bad as well so I wouldn’t really take anyone with a negative thing to say about cgi seriously. People gotta realise that berserk 2016 isn’t the only CG anime out there, and this series actually looks pretty good despite not being animated by studio orange.

I would say it definitely has bad CG - I think the main thing is the way the heads move around so much when they talk. It's weird, and it only happens in CG - but not all CG, I guess it looks weird if the heads are perfectly still, but instead they give them this exaggerated movement that looks unnatural and just screams "cheap kids show CG" I guess because it's way cheaper then motion capture and way less work for the animators then doing realistic CG. Like literally any vtuber looks better then this and that's all done in real time often with cheap hardware. It, like, falls into the uncanny valley for sure.

There is good and bad CGI. This is clearly on the bad side of CGI because there is no way to forget that it is CGI.
