| well first of all, his skill telepathy only allows him to read the minds of those, who he is in contact with, but it doesnt work the other way around. He can read the mind of the sword (which is an intelligent weapon) but the sword cannot read his mind. So if fate has to express something, he should tell it loudly... Lastly, its a freakin fantasy show with intelligent weapons and skills that act like curses. So I think thats disclaimer enough to not find it weird that he speaks loudly to his sword. |
| The issue isn't him talking to it at all, it's how often he talks to it while out in public causing misunderstandings. He spent half of episode 3 telling holy knights to shut up because he can't ignore his sword's comments |

| To me, it's not the number of times he talks to his sword but how he talks to it. Fate talks to greed like a 10-year-old. Like, bro, it's a sentient sword helping you suppress that cursed skill you have, absorb what he says, and reflect on it. I know they have telepathy, but Fate still wants to act like he has to react to everything greed says. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
