it doesn't make sense now. after seeing that dogshit of an ending, i just can't watch it even though i genuinely want to :(
will we get an anime only ending or the manga ending? should i continue watching this?

imo manga ending was bad because the consequences of the takemichi's choices are gone. Everything he lost and built have lost their meanings. It was like a starting a new save with cheats on. It should have ended like Code Geass.

Honestly, it's better that the first part( that was total dragged out dog shit) i suggest u give it a watch! Most of the important plotlines are revealed and it's quite interesting. Some parts are cliche and the character motivs aren't strong but watch it anyway!

Ending after the Tenjiku arc makes no sense, there was so many unsolved questions and it wouldn’t be a satisfactory ending if everyone got a happy ending but a few people (Mikey, Kakucho, Koko, the rest of Bonten and everyone who has died). Mikey deserved a happy ending and to be saved along with the other character which is what the Kantou Manji arc is for. Yes the actual ending was rushed but ending it after the Tenjiku arc would just be bad writing

I am pretty sure it's a wonderful anime with raging emotions and a great plot
