| Yeah, sorry not sorry but I'm with Goushi on this: goofing off and recording your everyday life is not work. It's an aberration of this digital age, where it's easier than ever for really anyone to record, edit, and upload videos, whenever and wherever, that it's possible to make a living off just that. Do you have to have a personality for it to be entertaining enough for others? Sure, but unless you're completely artificial, that's not something you work or train for (and, personally, even then it's beyond me why anyone would be interested in any random noname's life). That's been my issue with Ultras, tbh, since day 1: they're supposed to be these complete randos who just happened to reach a high enough number, and yet they feel carefully crafted and designed in their every detail to differentiate them from our series regulars. Nothing about them comes off as authentic at all, and honestly I'm glad Goushi called them out on their bs, because their arrogance and latent vindictiveness really has been rubbing me the wrong way. Not convinced by how things got settled in the end either. |

| @yellowheartren i agree. this episode just makes me dislike them even more. it's like they're trying to make us have sympathy or whatever for ultraz, but nah. it's the opposite for me who already don't like them since day 1. go-chan is definitely right to call a-suke childish with the way a-suke reacted when it happened. i'm very much like go-chan in this episode, i don't have much interest in youtubers and the likes, so i usually avoid them like a plague. |
