Web Novel vs Anime

Those who've read the web novel, what's your take on the anime version? I feel it's better in a lot of ways. The wn , now that I look back, was an empty husk, just small details here and there to barely keep the story going. Anime one is like someone drenched wn with elixir . Dead old patient came back to life.

The anime is based on the light novel and not the web novel and usually they make the officially published books more fleshed out and work on the prose to sound more professional. I, having only read the light novel can’t tell you what differences there is or isn’t between the light novel and web novel but so far the light novel has been superior to the anime for me. I feel like the anime is a sped up version of the books and glosses over some smaller details that might not mean much on their own but for me they create a fuller experience.
