That could be a bit of foreshadowing, but no, Rudeus had nothing to do with Nanahoshi getting isekai'd. he's pretty powerful, but nowhere near strong enough to accidentally summon someone from another world.

LN Spoilers:
The man-god doesn't actually have all that much power. He can see the future of his "disciples" (the people he consistently talks to in their dreams) and gives them advice based on that.

Nanahoshi stuff gets dealt with a lot more later on. It'll start getting dealt with in the second cour of s2.

No, its just moronic foreshadowing. That's foreshadowing derived from the main character being a moron. You should assume that Rudy has a connection to Nanahoshi being summoned since it happens on his birthday but this piece of dialogue isn't it. Don't read the manga.

Yes but that was together when Rudeus went to his village to teach his student the final step.
That day all Greyratts and companions present there got teleported together

I can’t wait for the 25th book to get released in English. I can recommend Reading the light novel.
For me that Got me into Reading in general.

But i also can’t wait to see how they are going to animate the series aswell.

I’m confused by the time frame of it all — 2 high school kids and Rudy got isekai’d st the same time, but Rudy is reincarnated 10 years before nanahoshi even shows up in the world, is this ever resolved?

@FlyingBacon365 I just noticed this after watching the specials, I had skipped them and went to season 2 but then I re-watched season 1 and am rewatching season 2 because I thought the anime was very good and I don't get sick of things easily

That is quite an odd thing, maybe he's like Mr Bean where he has indirect control of the world around him and the probabilities connected to him without knowing.

If you’re going to rewatch it over and over than you might as well read it. Don’t sleep on the novel. Never knew I could read so fast before.

If you’re going to rewatch it over and over than you might as well read it. Don’t sleep on the novel. Never knew I could read so fast before.
@FlyingBacon365 unfortunately my memory is impaired so I'm not able to memorize words or read novels, it's possible the manga could work though, would you recommend the manga or is it not as extensive in detail as it?

If you’re really committed to the series then you could read the manga, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s not awful or anything, but the novel puts it to shame, so personally I would just wait for the anime to continue.
