| Look, don't get me wrong. I am enjoying the races. They always excite me and leave me on edge. But wasn't there another big part about Uma Musume that made it stand out from the typical Sports anime? The songs. The live idol performances they do after the big races. Why aren't we seeing them anymore? It's not like the franchise has completely forgotten about it as we see snippets of it here and there, but when was the last time it was a main plot for the characters to focus on and dedicate their time to practice singing and dancing like how they did in the first season? |

| I'm sure we'll get one at the end of the season. And I think they're trying to focus more on the races themselves and the drama, while a song after that would take away from that. |

| Now that you mention it... I do remember season 1 had a lot of singing after winning in almost every episode. While season 2 had a couple. And now season 3... it's almost all gone and it's mostly just racing. (majority of the singing is done as BGM, barely any "live") IE: Season 1 - 50:50 Idol:Race Season 2 - 30:70 Idol:Race Season 3 - 10:90 Idol:Race I predict Season 4 will be 100 just Race, LOL . Tho as some ppls mentioned, this is cause while Season 1 with Spe-chan is just a little bit of Drama. Season 2 with Teio is very dramatic with injuries. And Season 3 sorta follow suit with also a fairly dramatic setting... Season 4? will we have actual death now?... (as in Races Horses (in the US at least) that gets "injured" or "retired" gets "put down" aka "euthanasia" aka "forcibly killed", IE: 80% of race horse in US that get just 1 broken leg is murdered) (imagine if Teio was a US horse, she probably won't be allowed to recover and would be killed within a couple of days of the injury) . Being a Race Horse is actually terrible. You're forced to train for hours and then kept in a shed for majority of time, there is no "freedom" due to prevention of any Horses hurting themselves outside. And once you're all used up for racing, you're "put down" cause no race trainers wants to spend thousands of dollar to keep a horse that does nothing alive. (It's cheaper to just get a new race horse) Also, did you know, that some dead Race Horses gets turn into other animal foods? Parts of the horse become Cat, Dog, and Pig food. |
