| Oh yes, we need more activeness :( Well, let me start off then. Kida is tsundere in ways, so he'd be perfect with a sadistic person like Izaya. At least, that's what I think. But another much more detailed reason: Kida just seems like the type who keeps things to himself, not one to open up. But since Izaya is the only one who really knowns anything about his past life, he'd be the only one who knows the real Kida Masaomi. And maybe, just maybe Izaya in his own ways will be able to comfort him. I think he could be somewhat like Kida's person to "lean on" Bonus question: And how exactly would Izaya comfort Kida..? (wink wink) Tried my best not to put spoilers into this. ha. And thanks for making this topic. We really need something to do in this club :) |

| It's hard to explain since the chemistry is just so 'kya, kyaa' in my head. That just means the pairings work. <3 Izaya knows what buttons to push when it comes to him, he'd know the other side of Kida more than others, and, because of that 'person', Kida has a habit of running to Izaya when he needs help. <3 Also there are just so many instances where I imagine their personal character traits: Kida's playfulness and Izaya's teasing could develop into something else everytime. xD~ |
| Like Trixcy said.. kinda hard to explain. xD To me, it's mostly because Izaya likes to tease Kida or even piss him off. Seems like the usual couples, bickering at each other. There's also all the fanarts that help the yaoi fantasy. @_@ |

And it turns out to be a lovely relationship :) I personally like this one over the Shizaya pairing since, well, that one seems a bit too violent for my liking. haha. |

| I think I first liked the idea of Kizaya, only because they were both so adorable, and I love yaoi. x'3 So I just naturally put them together ~ After the characters began to develop more, I saw certain things about them that just clicked together ~ They met under kind of strange circumstances, and I felt as though while Kida was still a part of the Yellow Scarves, he depended on Izaya somewhat. But in all honesty, what made me fall head over heels for them was a very long story I read on a Durarara!! Kink Meme, in which Kida was in love with Izaya and would do anything for him, seeing Izaya as a 'god'. Their personalities were expressed so well, having Kida really being the only one with feelings. Which is how I really see Kizaya- if anything, although I hate this, it really is just one-sided on Kida's part. I really resented the story for a long time because of this, but the end was just, amazing. The author was able to make Izaya love Kida, even though it was only a bit, in such a way that you could never say he was out of character. Then I knew that Kizaya was the only couple for me ~ <'3 .... And all that jazz ~ |
