| Every character in this show is goofy because the entire story is motivated by dramatic over-the-topness. I TOTALLY understand the common criticisms of the story, but Tokyo Revengers is also immensely fun if, and ONLY if, you sort of let it go and hang on for the ride. What absolutely bonkers drama thing will happen next? What character will show up to fight at the literal last nanosecond? What complicated flashback will reveal the most insane motivations of all time? I've heard it put this way before, but Tokyo Revengers is like a telenovela. It's SO dumb but getting yourself invested in the shenanigans is enjoyable. All the criticisms are valid; I think anyone looking for conventional quality storytelling should abandon ship or have done so a long time ago. |

| @CodeXdagger No counter arguments just vibes. You almost have to respect it. You should complain about those "flaws" in the "Midpiece" forum page instead of deflecting because you have nothing to add to the conversation. |
