The manga is far better than the anime as the majority of the best bits are missing from the anime it just skips so much.

I think you must read from the first Chapter. because the manga and the anime lil bit different.
like, in the Anime the elf make a water wheel before Ru pregnant, in the manga, The dark elf make that thing after MC make a new village (he had 2 kids from Ru and Tia)
