I would like to know if there's a way to authenticate user on the main site (myanimelist.net) without making user reauthenticate himself, for example using the access token.

@Niccol0, I'm not completely sure about what you're asking. Users are already authenticated in the browser or they wouldn't be able to approve your application when generating a new token. Did you use a different user agent to make them approve the request, like a web view? Or do you want to authenticate them on a different device using only an access token?

In any case, it's not possible to use an access token to log a user in on the website.

I would like users being able to like characters of an anime, you can do it from the webiste while you can't from the api, so i thought i could access myanimelist from an invisible webview and run some javascript when user press a like button, but i need to access that page as an authenticated user, there's a way to do that?

@Niccol0 Nope. If it's not supported by the API, you cannot trigger arbitrary actions from the website using an access token.
