To be honest it's a great movie. For a standalone movie it had a ton of love poured into it and it deserves its success.

I thought it was even better than most of the tv series, so I'm really happy about that.

Does DVD/blu-ray has same issue as Netflix where the onscreen Japanese is only translated if watching in Dub and without subs, but once subs are turned on the correct translation is replaced instead of what is spoken and in sub version the on screen japanese isn't even translated at all, pirate sites got it right, but Netflix has this issue. So what about DVD/Blu-ray or they don't have this issue?

it's been a few months so i don't really remember, but usually the translation in general here in theaters is not very good, but the experience can still be enjoyable.

maybe in your country the translation is better, you could give it a shot and if it's not up to your standards then sail the high seas the next time.
