The final volume of the series, set three years after the final chapter of volume 13.

Itsuki and Nayu have a baby boy together, and a 2nd baby on the way. Itsuki writes another personal novel for Nayu, wanting to spark that passion for writing once again in Nayu (who hasn't written anything for a couple years). Cool speech at the end as he accepts an award for the work.

Miyako and Haruto's relationship doesn't progress a whole lot in the three year time skip, thanks to a multitude of reasons, but they finally get together officially, Haruto's little Sister adamant about him not moving out of the house lol, so they don't live together (yet). Miyako still working as an editor for Branch Limited.

Chihiro still harbored feelings for Haruto over the three years, finally giving up and even pushing Haruto and Miyako to make a concrete move, to help her finally move on. Author teased Chihiro/Setsuna a little bit, but nothing more happened.

Ashley and Kaizu have a child and become good Family friends with the Hashima's.

Kaiko is apparently a Lesbian and goes steady with a women she's currently seeing.

Again, the boob sucking chapter was weird, but I can tell what Yomi is going for, another "Insert fetish" obsessed person is born.

All in all, a great read, and my first LN series I've read.

Haha, this takes me back. It’s been a while since I finished this series. Ending was pretty nice. Really liked the book series.

Satisfying ending though to be honest I would have enjoyed more of Haruto and Miyako being lovey-dovey (We didn't even get a kiss!).

Everyone seems to have a good ending, except for Chihiro, who is still alone after losing to Miyako.

The side story was good, I really thought it was a continuation of the novel. The son of Itsuki and the daughter of Ayane getting together would have been a great conclusion as someone who enjoyed the backstory at the end of volume 3.

Even though the second half of Imouto sae Ireba Ii wasn't as good as the first part, I'll still miss it. I'll miss reading the names of the my favorite characters. I'll miss seeing their evolution.

Far, Far better than Haganai's godforsaken final volume where all balls are dropped for no good reason.
And thus, they lived happily ever after... .

A decent ending and satisfying conclusion to the series overall.
The side story was pretty fun even though not completely believable on some aspects (but there is a good reason for that haha).

As for the light novel itself, I can say I enjoyed my time for the most part:
- most of the characters are a fine mix between very quirky and very realistic, each one with their own story and dreams
- the art is way above the average art in light novels imo
- most characters (including secondary ones) are likeable and have (kind of) a satisfying evolution and conclusion
- the comedy was at least on the level of Haganai from the same author, if not even more enjoyable
- some good drama here and there that helps the characters grow up
- a lot of interesting insight and inside jokes on the light novel (and anime) industry

There are a few things I did not like such as:
- the plot lines of the second half of the story were generally less interesting imo than in the first half, also with less comedy
- it felt to me that Nayuta importance in the story gradually diminished to the point she was basically a secondary character (or even less) in the second half (and yes, despite volume 12)
- Miyako and Haruto 'love story' was not the most convincing ever, probably because we don't spend that much time on it all things considered

Still, overall, it was a very good read, with attaching characters and solid writing :)
My favorite character end up being Kaiko, weirdly enough, haha
