This shit is straight ass (except for the music). Stop coping, the animation is basically non-existent, the pacing is way off, and the art style is garbanzo even if you don't directly compare it to ToG S1's gorgeous artstyle. This season is a fucking disappointment.

Yeah I just decided to read the manwha instead and it’s actually a really good story so far. Can’t believe it’s getting disrespected like this, it definitely deserves better.

I actually liked season 1 art style. I’m no genius or anything but with a series that popular on WEBTOON you’d think you’d have an ample amount of budget for it

agree I think people are just spoiled with God tier animation expecting every studio to have the same type of animation and think they are entitled to have they way, the animation studio are human not robots they can't have eye candy animation done fast it takes like a few months to do 1 episodes, if they did really good animation the season 2 would be out by summer of 2025 or later or 2026 summer.

As someone who HAS seen Season 2 of Promised Neverland and Tokyo Ghoul (after enjoying the first seasons), I would not put ToG Season 2 in the same comparison. Those two sequels were TRULY ass-tier anime. I’m actually low-key enjoying ToG S2…sure, it’s no masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination, but I’m still at least enjoying it, which is certainly not something I can say about The Promised Neverland or Tokyo Ghoul second seasons.

I recommend everyone to just read the webtoon. It’s better, it’s free and supports the creator. The pacing is better. The story makes more sense since it takes the time to give depth to the characters. The art starts out kinda mid, but the gets fantastic as it goes on as the author gets better.
