Love is definitely in the air but I'm not sure Rumi can handle all of it.

Naori's club idea is interesting although I think it might of be better if she planned more ahead. Then again, Naori seems like the type of person who is fairly open minded. Episode is okay, definitely different again from the usual date episodes, which is more refreshing imo.

Rumi's basketball match is the current most important event of her life, but her team losing just demotivates all of her efforts. Naori wanting to start a new club, there's just enough people to justify, but the ideas have to be concrete, as well as getting a clubroom and an advisor for the job. Rumi getting hit on by Mizuma and Reira just being a winggirl to help the former decide what her heart is telling her, it's either now or never, and not having to hang the critical question above her head.

The details of the club not being known to Rumi yet, Kamedake may be interfering with the sisters' affairs, but she's OK if Naori's OK anyways. And just as the basketball match is as a strategy move as love and romance, Rumi cutting ties with Mizuma trying to see her as a potential partner, who knows how much he's trying to screw her mind over, but at least she gave him a chance to try. The club meanwhile given the all-clear by Yoda-sensei, both Jun and Moriwaki still gave qualms with the clubroom, which is still a work in progress. Turning the sequence to Mizuma's confession, Rumi enquiring Jun's feedback only rages her feelings even more because she is clearly holding back and wanting him to take action to get her before it's too late.

Jun is right that he has no decision of Rumi deciding to date some other boy, but Rumi is just forcing her ideals on him too much.

A rival appears and things get more complicated tho it's not surprising.
Looks like Rumi has to sort out her feelings which seemed to be a big problem for her.
The club part is something i am wondering about, like will the be able to get a room for that and such seeing as it seems to be a way to pass the time.

Reminder Rumi best girl. Hate seeing her go thru all this emotional turmoil, but again she really should’ve just stayed with Jun in the first place..

First the basketball game goes poorly, then Mizuma confessing to her throwing an already emotional girl into even more disarray .. it’s a good thing she’s got Reira there to support her. Honestly at this point they need to just date because Reira gets her better than anyone and is really supportive lol.

To be fair though, respect to Mizuma for not being pushy or aggressive with Rumi. Didn’t beg her or try to guilt trip her into dating him and realises he made her uncomfortable, wanting to go back to being friends etc.

Again love her to death, but the phone call at the end of the episode is also kinda on Rumi. Why beat around the bush and play all these mind games. Tell him you still like him lol. Reira literally told her not to do all the indecisive stuff earlier in the ep too when comparing it to basketball and taking a shot..

Naori trying to encourage Rumi to go on a date with Mizuma so she can get closer to Jun, you are not slick you snake 😂

So, I was half expecting something like that would happen eventually, as it was clear both the twins were liked by other guys.
But I didn't expect it would go that far: because of Jun's behavior and Naori's calculated little push, the dude might really stand a chance with Rumi after all, who knows.

I believe this arc will eventually clear things out for us as for now we're not completely sure if Jun still likes Rumi or not (we knew he did after their breakup at the start of the season, but what about now? Naori came into play, and time has passed).
If he finally acts to stop that situation from developing further, it would prove he still has feelings for her imo, but if he doesn't then probably not.

Love how the Professor got unanimously appointed to the role of the club's honorary punching bag pretty much immediately lmao.

Not denying Rumi got herself into her own mess and Naori did declare she was done playing nice but can't help but feel bad seeing her get kicked while she's down, especially since she's still recovering from her lost match.

I felt bad for Rumi... such a naive girl.. but was thoroughly impressed with Reira. I wish I got a sister/ friend like her. Some might say that Rumi is being a drama queen, and Jun was right not to interfere. But did u forget how Naori threw a tantrum cause Jun gave the Bday present to Rumi first? Naori is being all conniving in her scheme. I am despising her more and more every week. But I honestly think Rumi shouldn't pursue Jun anymore. If he actually loves her, he will come back to her.

Meh, this is turning soap-opera-dramatic. And a boring episode most of it

And the male MC just has absolutely no presence in this anime; he would have been better off as a pointless background character; not even a side character

I really thought we were going to return to the rawrness of the love triangle after the way episode 8 ended. I guess we got this episode 9 that when the long-hair-twin started to encourage the short-hair-twin to date the new guy, but MEHHHHHHHHHHH

3 episodes left. Hopefully it will get School-Days-Spicy

IT'S A TRAP! Poor Rumi out here getting combo'd by life. Doesn't feel right for Mizuma to confess to her right after she lost the game and bringing up all that stuff about Naori. He definitely knows what he's doing, even going as far as playing the "we can hang out as friends" card (at least my interpretation is he's definitely trying to get his foot in the door so to speak). Reira is onto his tactics for sure but the question is will it work anyway?

What an abrupt way to end the episode.

Rumi is acting like Jun is still her boyfriend and Jun is like "sorry, what does this have to do with me?". hope this was meant to be a comedy part because I laughed during that phone call.

Rumi receives a confession, and poor sod because she cannot reciprocate.

They'll make a club too but there is a problem.

This anime transformed from a drama into a slice of life. There's a new drama but it's directionless. It must be salvaged by next episode or so.

I will never get the “You are supposed to stop me from going with another guy”, when they haven’t even talked about being a couple or when they have broken up already.

In both cases the guy is not obligated or responsible to stop the girl from doing anything, the problem is her own indecisiveness.

Rumi’s friend hit the nail right on the head, “When you shot that 3 pointer you didn’t need time to think, you knew what you wanted to do”, but outside of basketball, Rumi has no real decision making skills and she over thinks everything.

Rumi should not be pressuring Jun or mad at him.
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

The drama is back in full swing. A very fast paced episode with two plots going on scene by scene and the way it was handled was perfect as it kept you entertained yet tensed up. One of the twins getting asked out by another dude post all the Jun drama and his near mental breakdown from the twins' machinations was bound to happen. I do feel a tad for Rumi but I also can't help yelling at the screen at how she really shouldn't hesitate to outright tell the guy he's not got a chance, but with the episode starting with her losing a match in the basketball tournament, I suppose it's setting the tone for how Rumi's feeling boxed in by forces beyond her control and being unable to fight back.

100% backing Naori's own plans to take advantage of the situation to see how Rumi handles it.

On top of Naori getting annoying with her secretive manipulation and Rumi dragging her feat now we get a guy going after Rumi and with his attitude I'm quite sure he doesn't have any good intentions at all.

Jesus this anime is such a mess. This whole thing was messy enough with the love triangle with the twins, but adding this random into it just makes this all the more messy.

I liked the idea of the protagonists not living on a buble and having they own romantic options, makes it realistic at the same way it increases the pressure

Man, a lot happened during this episode. It truly felt like an hour long episode.

Rumi is such a girl hahaha. As a girl though, it does suck having to not be as friendly to guys as you'd want due to the fear of them liking you. Overall, Rumi is so damn oblivious and dense. She's also incredibly immature, why don't the viewers see that?? I mean, its pretty clear that Jun has moved on. But instead she got all hissyfit because Jun didn't care if she went on a date with him.

Naori might be a snake, but at least she's slick and gets shit done lol although, I am hoping someone sweeps her off her feet so that Jun realises he's wasting time and truly does like her.

This anime is pretty good at showing the immaturity of high school girls.

Sheina is the cutest though
