As mentioned in title. Even if you don't have visual gag humour elements, the more you watch the "imposible" elements in this anime, the more you realise they are more a joke.

At every step you see another fantasy element that you can't help but look at it as a "joke"

Anything regarding (teacher, girls, others) their talent is not even important since the way they are is exactly because it's a "joke" what's happening.

Someone who picks up this anime because it has the Gag Humor, would also not be dissapointed to see that truly, there are elements that you can't help but say this is a joke.

Also, I intentionally avoided to give clear exemples due to risk of spoilers and honestly, anyone who did not watch the series, would not get why I say this anime has Gag Humor exactly because it's not clear like in other gag humor anime.

While I agree, that most of the abilities in the show are unrealistic and silly, there's no doubt in my mind that the author was 100% serious with what he write.
So the comedy tag doesn't really apply here imo.
